I watched some videos about the new retooled Cherry Nixie switches and they sounded scratchy.

Can somebody who has these switches say something about their smoothness?
How do they compare to smoothness gods like c3 equalz tangerenes, alpacas or gateron inks?

I also bought these keyboards for less than 5€ in the past (Cumb.de store), so @Geroximo is right. However it's true these boards normally arrive in awful condition (super filthy or even damaged) so there's an extra work that needs to be done... does this work justifies the asked price? probably no...

You could buy these keyboards for 3,50€ and you want 40€ for them? lmao.

Also just for information: The caps on these are lasered thin pbt caps, nothing compared to Cherrys thick pbt caps.

These switches literally break your keycaps ... anything is better than this.

I can confirm the problem. Cracked stems on my GMK HADapter set which was mounted on Kailh BOX blacks. This is horrendous. I don't even want to know how much damage has been done by this. The Alphas are not the same color as in the renders, they are more brownish, but that's fine, it looks really classy.

Black lettering is the way to go.
I like the turqoise. You could consider going TU2 instead of TU1 for better contrast.

I just tried it with a dental pick and failed. Drilling it out with a dremel is the only solution left I guess. The keycap is an OG Cherry PBT dyesub "Ä" in excellent condition. I'd rather save the cap, since it's in such good condition and a replacement cap probably wouldn't have the exact matching...

I already tried it with a hot needle ... all it did was melting some of the PBT plastic :X
