Those could be anything from indeed the real thing (that probably did not pass QC or something) to cheaply made budget copies. No easy way to tell really. The only guarantee to get the real deal, new, with warranty, is to buy from a official sales rep. OEM boxing could be the case if these mice for ...

Looks like a relative simple board without the diodes and stuff.... If i were you id number all the pins on the controller (with a little marker right on the pcb) I would then (with the multi-meter set to measure continuity aka 'diode' ) measure to what two controller pins every switch is connected ...

iMod.. Did you do it yourself or send it to redwine or whatever their name is ? Bigger membrane = better bass, also all in-ears that I had, no matter how expensive they where, died because of a broken cable. Grab the Headphones. You can send pretty much anything over it. eh, thunderbolt cables arn't as flexiable and most devices that use usb don't need that kind of transfer speed, i think most things will go USB and lightpeak/thunderbolt will be mostly for just storage, monitors and maybe gaming mice ? May i a...

Easy, magic!

Unfortunately what 'standard' will actually come next as the new big thing will depend on marketing and bureaucracy and not whats technically superior..... but it will probably be some form of PoW (power over wireless technology).

Hmyeah, the 'collapsing' key feel (not really being able to press it halfway) would indicate domes.. but then again rubber domes are not really loud in general. However if you hit hard enough any button will make a noise (if you hit it really hard it will only do so once tho).

Well as long as everything works i dont think you could call it a defect (even if its not supposed to happen). If you are really bothered by it you can always just desolder the led that annoys you (or put a sticker over it lol).
