Re: Epson Q703C-AA Clean up and conversion

I have one of these I've been seeing about converting for awhile. I collected a bunch of documentation when I first got it to help out. The actual technical manual has all the scancodes and everything. http://www.mediafire.com/file/rowr246phbkuf9a/QX10_Technical_Manual_Chapter_7_starts_page_13_Keybo...

@Polecat: Wow! You have accumulated an extensive stash of useful data! You should definitely plan to incorporate this into the DT wiki. I lost track of the generations in your discussion. Given my serial numbers for my Northgate Omnikey 101 US ANSI keyboards, to which generation do these keyboards ...

@Laser Thank you for your answer! So, I have tested quite a good things. I even think I had started to brick my Pro Micro card. It seems it is now OK. 1. It seems dfu-programmer never finds the board. How to target it? root# dfu-programmer atmega32u4 erase dfu-programmer: no device present. 2. The b...

Re: [Newbie] Want to create a DIY ortholinear mechanical keyboard

Oh thank you very much matt3o, I think I understand now. So, I currently have 15 columns and 5 rows, i.e. 15×5 = 75 keys, and 15+5 = 20 in/outs. I want to have up to 18 in/outs with at least 75 keys. $ 15×3 = 45 $ 14×4 = 56 $ 13×5 = 65 $ 12×6 = 72 $ 11×7 = 77 (bingo!) $ 10×8 = 80 (OK) $ 9×9 = 81 (OK...

Packard Bell US ANSI with Blue Alps Switches

Here is a presentation of a Packard Bell keyboard with blue Alps switches, US ANSI layout, and uncertain model number. There is a small paper sticker on the rear black-painted metal case. The faded number is difficult to read, but I interpret it as "T8015". I have another Packard Bell with a similar...

I have a couple IBM mono VGA monitors here, but they're the smaller POS ones,. 4689 and 4707 (same except the cable length), and I'm pretty sure the cables aren't the same as the 8503. edit: should say 4683 and 4707 But most of what you need is labelled on the PC board, thanks to IBM! [H] Sharp PA-1000 w/ SKCL Greens [W] Plate-mount MX-style switches, SA keycaps

The typewriter has had its top cover on for most of the time I've had it, so the SKCL Greens in it (60 full-size and 13 compact) are in really good condition. The keycaps for the full-size switches are all doubleshots. I would assume most of the people on this forum would only be interested in salv...
