Re: [GONE] Free parts (Vortex Poker PCB, Keebio Iris PCB+plates, Tai-Hao keycaps)

62 Cherry MX clears later… IMG_3498.jpeg I’ve had these PCB mount clears sitting in my parts collection for something like 10 years, so it’s good to finally give them a home. My initial impressions, having just finished soldering them in: I actually quite like them. They’ve certainly got tactility c...

Left is good, though I prefer to split the alphas and have the numpad in the middle. I personally like 75% layouts which remove the nav cluster and instead have a numpad. Perfect best of both words since the numpad has almost the whole ass nav cluster redundant http://www.overclock.net/content/type/...

Next is a Qume QVT-61 from around 1994. This is what got me started on this set, after doing a few older QVT keyboards that cloned a VT100, sort of. Epomaker Skyloong SK61S - Gateron Optical Blue Clicky

Didn't like the switches. ============ LINKY While I'd love to post another Chyros-homage review, I'd have to go back and watch 5 or 6 of his videos to get into that groove.
