Not me. But the caps, and to a lesser extent the PCB, look familiar. Honeywell / Micro Switch familiar. I could well be rusty, though. Clear indication it's an early Cherry board: 1) UncleFan is showing interest in the board 2) The big fat CHERRY logo on the PCB probably M8 switches. The caps are t...

AT&T is obviously a cherry g83 rubberdome Yeah, it's written on the sticker. Without that information, I don't think it's possible to distinguish those old G83s from G80s or G81s. There's a thread about it on Geekhack. I got one. :x Hopefully, the case is G80-compatible at least. I thought that the...

Looks like a Maxi switch board.
It does look like a Honeywell Micro Switch keyboard, but the exposed switch looks more like a Cherry M7 to me.

If someone is interested, here is another one of those NEC PC-8801mk II SR with blue alps. Price is a bit higher with $55 shipping, but the keyboard doesn't look that dirty.

Thanks for kind words, kbdfr. First of all, the price "prior to their fund" was not $500. At least that's what I got from your words. Several people in this thread said that the price is steep, but fair. We actually contacted a few people prior to our sale and asked their opinion on what price we sh...

Cherry G81-3100SAV keyboards, keysets.

After more than a year from the start of the sale, we actually sold everything we wanted to sell in this "batch". Mindgame still has a few keyboards for sale, but the prices might be different. If you want to buy anything, leave a pm in his inbox. Big thanks to everyone who bought stuff from us. Old...

Thanks for all the replies, guys! I still can't believe we were able to pull this through. Now that we're past the "woah!" stage, allow me to ask about those five extra caps in a convenient bag — obviously they must be for variants of the Cyrillic alphabet, but my teeny-tiny brain can't figure out w...

Make Cyrillic Great Again

P1090673.JPG Pre-story You might know me and you might know Mindgame. We were always on the lookout for deals on mechanical keyboards in the past. One of the places where I found a few of them is a retro computing forum with a fairly large marketplace with it’s own set of rules that everyone tries ...

Reminds me of topre and since the board was made in japan it could be a clone of some sorts.

This means that we need to rename it, as it's most likely not real Linear Clear, but a totally custom part. And we still don't have a good name for it. I, usually, call it "Albino black", but that name doesn't really represents the real difference between them and "normal" switches. You could call ...

I added a new page with some images. I also noticed that there is another "notch" on linear clears, and "south" facing part of the cross is actually sloped. Hope pictures give enough evidence.

I talked with some people familiar with older USSR keyboards and seems like the word "ЗАБОЙ" ("ЗБ") and "ВШ" was just used on different systems. They're both good for "Backspace" imo. So if it all boils down to a preference on what word to use I would vote for "ЗАБОЙ".

Totally agree with @joric here. We also can use ГОСТ (which means Государственный Стандарт - State Standard) as a reference http://docs.cntd.ru/document/gost-14289-88 . It describes most of the keys we listed, outside of ЭКР, and, for obvious reasons, MENU, SUPER, FN and OS.

Nice keyboards. I would like to find one like it myself one day.
They both even came with the original Ukranian replacement keys
Judging by the picture it actually came with original Belorussian keycaps too! That letter "Ў" is not present in Russian or Ukranian alphabet.
