@kbdfr is that cap actually perfectly aligned on the keyboard? I would guess that it is ~1mm too high and ~0.5 mm to the right.

I mentioned this problem in my earlier post. The center of the cap is to close to the lowered side at least on Cherry caps. This mod in not that great but often there aren't any other options. Anyone got a spare center stemed WoB cherry ds capslock?

Made this mod recently with ABS caps and epoxy. The result was ok but the center of the cap is to near the lowered part of the cap so that it gets in the way of the switch housing when it is pushed. I carved out some of the plastic in the cap and put the stem slightly of center to make it work. I di...

I have been looking for nice TKL cases but it seems like there is not much out there that's easy to get hold of. GON (Gonskeyboardsworks.com) has nice stuff but that's the only thing I have found that I like.

Don't worry GH60 wont be ready in a while everything is done in serial by different people far away from each other to make the lead times as long as possible. It's like one of those really big hard candies that lasts forever.

Maybe it's possible to put the buttons in the small spaces to the left and right and have a mechanical arm (I don't know the term) transferring the motion sideways.

If you are just going to solder wires to the connector and not put it on a PCB I think you can use the broken one. But I would get a new connector and put it on a experiment PCB together with the teensy on pin headers.

I find it hardest to get hold of GMK:
* win keys (don't have to be windows logo on them)
* space bars in standard colors e.g black
* center stemed Caps lock (of all colors and legends)
So it would be nice to have those a future mod pack.

Case for custom TKL

I have been looking for a TKL case to build a custom board. GONs cases are nice but are there other good options?
I'm still in a planing phase and open for any suggestions.

Swedish Tulip keyboard. Probably rubber dome with Alps compatible DS caps (and non standard stabilizers) similar to http://deskthority.net/wiki/Tulip_9151B. Part no: 11-500046-00 Fcc id: FPW 9151 B-68 W

Maybe "Integrated slider" is not needed as a term an should be called just "slider" or "the slider of the integrated mount"

If you take the analogy of electrical interfaces the slider is the plug and the socket is the ? but the mount is the connector i.e. the whole interface. I like the word slider as it almost always (or are there examples plungers that is not sliding?) has a sliding function of some sort.

Ok, so after seeing your changes I think "integrated slider" is the best term. I think this page explains it well and is good to link to. http://deskthority.net/wiki/Rubber_dome_over_membrane.

I changed it back and added some pictures. It looks similar the ANK 25-101. You're right, stem is a better term to distinguish it from "real" sliders.
