I'd be down for that, but I don't think I'm smart enough to design the plate, as the plate would need to be mounted sandwich style (I think?) and I never looked into that.

That's really nice from you, but I'm no good at soldering SMD-components. DIP is no problem, but I doubt that'd be enough. Maybe there are other people like me who'd prefer a left handed version, so it'd make my suggestion easier to realise, but at the same time I don't want to alienate your project...

That'd be really cool. I guess there's no way to get a version with the numpad on the left going? It's too much of a strain on the MoQ, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I'd be comfortable with paying a premium, but it's probably still out of reach :(

I'd be so down for this, if the numpad was on the left side. I'm interested in the current state though. If I get one depends on if I got the money when the drop happens. The angle of the acrylic bottom look pretty steep to me though, personally I prefer a flat angle. The ZZ96 of a friend was too st...

I made you a really quick vocaroo, of a loose MX White (from Sennin32) and an (I think Gateron) Blue. First Gateron, then MX White http://vocaroo.com/i/s1Yoh8ax0Avj And here is one of a KBP V60 with MX Whites, where you can here the abysmal variance of the (earlier version?) Did you ever get your hands on (new) Cherry MX Whites? I recently got a bunch from Sennin32s GB and it seems like they were able to get rid of most of the variance, most of the switches I got sound exactly the same, although there are still some that are closer, or further away from MX Blues than re...

I'm okay with the keycaps being ABS, if they are in good condition, only problem I currently have justifying this purchase is that I got no interest at all in the keyboard itself. So if anybody is interested in getting the keyboard, but not the keycaps and wants to split the cost, I'd be down for th...

I might be interested in the Telefunken, can you tell me a little about the keycaps?
Do you know whether they are PBT/ABS? How dirty/used are they? It's hard to tell from the pictures, if they are only dirty, or also a bit yellowed.

Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

While I'm really interested, I don't have the funds to buy another potential rubberdome this month... If anyone is interested in the Typewriter, it's a Canon AP 1500 and can be found on ebay-kleinanzeigen (10€+ shipping). Thank you guys a bunch!

These probably aren't, but I Fujitsu leaf spring isn't too bad for 10-15€ I guess. Who knows whether they just used regular alps on the alphas, I've seen enough weird stuff on these typewriters to be ready for anything.

What drives me mad is that it has the same caps for the alphas as my AP 360, which had ivory alps. Those keycaps are so nice on my KBP V60, I'd love to have a second set. Oh man, I don't know if I should get it, even if it is only 15€.
Thanks a bunch for your help :)

I never tried SKCM blues, but all well regarded Alps I've tried so far were pretty meh, especially orange Alps. On the other hand I really like the belittled Alps switches such as dampened white ones.

I really think you should go and get a switch tester. Also, do you need ISO, or is ANSI ok as well? I never tried those, but if I recall correctly the Logitech G810 and G410 (and the G910) are said to be not too far away from rubberdomes, but I'd need somebody to confirm that, as I'm not entierly su...

What switch feels the most like dome switches / chiclet? Do you want a switch with short travel like a chiclet, or one with regular travel (~4mm) like "regular" keyboards? The only kind of game I can think of where clicky switches are harmful are games where you dash by using a certain key twice (UT, Reflex or Toxikk), or rhythmn games. I hate the fact that I prefer 60% keyboards. TKL just looks so much nicer with every keyset (except for DSA-profile ones, maybe) out there.
Well anyway, is there a chance to get an additional ESC key in the base kit? I feel like it would look really weird on a 60% with the orange ESC key.
