That's really nice from you, but I'm no good at soldering SMD-components. DIP is no problem, but I doubt that'd be enough. Maybe there are other people like me who'd prefer a left handed version, so it'd make my suggestion easier to realise, but at the same time I don't want to alienate your project...

I'd be so down for this, if the numpad was on the left side. I'm interested in the current state though. If I get one depends on if I got the money when the drop happens. The angle of the acrylic bottom look pretty steep to me though, personally I prefer a flat angle. The ZZ96 of a friend was too st...

I made you a really quick vocaroo, of a loose MX White (from Sennin32) and an (I think Gateron) Blue. First Gateron, then MX White http://vocaroo.com/i/s1Yoh8ax0Avj And here is one of a KBP V60 with MX Whites, where you can here the abysmal variance of the (earlier version?) Switch http://vocaroo.co...

Did you ever get your hands on (new) Cherry MX Whites? I recently got a bunch from Sennin32s GB and it seems like they were able to get rid of most of the variance, most of the switches I got sound exactly the same, although there are still some that are closer, or further away from MX Blues than re...

I'm okay with the keycaps being ABS, if they are in good condition, only problem I currently have justifying this purchase is that I got no interest at all in the keyboard itself. So if anybody is interested in getting the keyboard, but not the keycaps and wants to split the cost, I'd be down for th...

I never tried SKCM blues, but all well regarded Alps I've tried so far were pretty meh, especially orange Alps. On the other hand I really like the belittled Alps switches such as dampened white ones.Ratfink wrote: ↑I've never much cared for Alps switches myself. They just seem…okay. That includes SKCM blue.

So I just received a parcel from your e-bay store and want to give some feedback. Although the packaging was really lacking (just some foam and tape), everything got to me up and well. I ordered two of the "defect" plates, which only support 2u Backspace and one normal one (in titanium gray). And bo...

I really think you should go and get a switch tester. Also, do you need ISO, or is ANSI ok as well? I never tried those, but if I recall correctly the Logitech G810 and G410 (and the G910) are said to be not too far away from rubberdomes, but I'd need somebody to confirm that, as I'm not entierly su...

What switch feels the most like dome switches / chiclet? Do you want a switch with short travel like a chiclet, or one with regular travel (~4mm) like "regular" keyboards? I'm not very interested in keyboards with short travel, so I can't really recommend anything in that regard, I just know that t...

I just took apart one of my dark blue MX switches to take a look at the insides. I didn't find any similar pictures on here, so I thought I might as well take some. The only kind of game I can think of where clicky switches are harmful are games where you dash by using a certain key twice (UT, Reflex or Toxikk), or rhythmn games. Other than that the difference is neglectable and it is totally up to personal preference, especially in games with as slow movement ...

I'd strongly advise against a HHKB for gaming. Gaming on a HHKB is like taking a shit in your hands and clapping - messy. That's a weird analogy... I got to object as well, I'd consider me a quite active and experienced gamer and I really like to use the HHKB Layout on my no HHKB keyboards. Whether...

I haven't tried topre but I have played a piano. It's unbelievable what statements some Topre users are willing to make in order to avoid saying that Topre feels like a freaking rubberdome.
