Is there any chance to get an option for the Matias variant? I'd be in for one of those, but sadly I got no interest in Cherry MX switches, especially not in Blues and Browns.

Shouldn't there be an Orange on Black Enter key as well? Personally I don't mind the extra color, but other people might. Also I'd like a R4 1u FN-key.

I really like this set, but to be honest I'm not sure whether I'd buy one. Just like Carbon SA, the colours are great, but they also remind me a lot of Skidata and Cherry OG (I don't want to call you a copycat or anything), which I have both. Regarding the add-ons you may want to keep in mind, that ...

Afaik even switches of a single batch can differ a lot, I don't like that. Especially the springs are slightly differently weigthed in basically every switch. Maybe I'm a bit too negative about them, but I think the problems with Zealios R1 tell a lot about their QC.

I really don't know of a good, modern linear switch, but I never looked into Gateron, since I don't want to support the way they achieve their prices. If I was a sucker for linear switches and was on a tight budget I'd probably try Chyros modded Dell, or if I was too lazy to open all these switches ...

Regarding looks, I really have to restrain myself from drawing a parallel between the Dell and a certain Packard Bell :D . I always disliked Cherrys modern linear switches, but I newer knew why, until I tried some vintage blacks. Sadly most boards with those are way more expensive than the Dell boar...

I always wondered why Matias linear switches use a leaf, imo. removing them doesn't hurt the switch at all. Removing the spring from blacks is a great idea and since I don't like or recommend any of the standard Cherry switches, it's probably a great and cheap way to get started with mechanical keyb...

Instead they go with the mediocre and loud Omrons. While the Omrons are really much louder than the dark blues without keycaps, the keycaps of the B200 somehow amplify the click of the cherry switches to a point where it isn't even funny anymore. With Cherry OG Dyesubs the sound of the dark blues i...

Yesterday I got this little beauty: b2001.jpg b2002.jpg Those Dark/Navy Blues are really nice, I wouldn't compare them to MX Greens though. Mine seem to feel a little like a mix of modern MX Whites and MX Blues. Its click is a little bit higher pitched than Whites, but still more silent than Blues. ...

Yesterday I got three of Triumph Adler Typewriters as well. Namely the Triumph Adler Gabriele 7007L, which I still got to clean, a Twen T420 (which has Cherry MY-Switches and what appears to be dyesubs) and a CompacTA 600. Now the Wiki lists syesubs for the CompacTA, but I'm not too sure about that....

I was wondering for some time now, what's the best source for (thick) Cherry POM? I'd like a set as well, but I'm unsure what to look out for? How can I destinguish between black PBT/ABS and black POM before buying?

AEG Olympia Olyport 70

Hello everyone, some time ago I bought a AEG Olympia Olyport 70 off e-bay, it cost me roughly 20€ incl. shipping. I hoped to get some nice Cherry switches or at least some MX compatible keycaps. Today it finally arrived and I just finished cleaning it a little, of course I also took some pictures (m...

There is no option to vote for this, but I'd really love a \ | key (the one above enter in ANSI) in the cyan set. In case you wonder why, I like to use ANSI mods with ISO legends. You probably should add an 'I don't care' option in the survey. I'm only interested in the cyan modpack, so I don't want...

This evening I had some spare time to waste on some vintage Alps keyboards laying around. One is a AEK I with orange Alps and one is an AEK II with White dampened Alps. Both have seen quite heavy use I guess, at least their spacebars are rather yellow. Since I wasn't very happy with neither of them ...

If I'd order some MX Whites, is it possible to specify which "kind" of MX White I want?
I want to replace the hardclick ones on my V60 with some softclick ones, so I really got no use for the hardclick variant. If necessary I'd also pay a little extra for the service of sorting them out.
