Super cool! How do the different forms compare with more regular keyboards?

Are the switches mounted or fastened in any other way than with the small clips?

Will the lowquantity fee go away if you order 3 of a kit, or 3 times the number you have already ordered? order 3x (or more) SPH/POS and there will be no low qty fee for your order.Usually, it will be cheaper to order 3-4 times an item instead of just one plus the low qty fee. The idea behind this ...

The bad is the regular one, and the good is the one where row 2 and 3 (from the bottom) is .25 units more to the right. Look here at how a symmetric stagger layout can look on these Tipros: http://deskthority.net/photos-videos-f8 ... t1948.html

Cool, you've got the good layout - I recommend trying symmetrical stagger if you haven't tried before. It's brilliant!

Re: [Project] The XYNV Keyboard

I've only prodded them a bit, but I think they're still too tactile. Clear springs would be better.

The unit came with an LCD but I don't know how to use it with the Teensy so I'll just leave the space open (covered with acryl) and have status LEDs.

Here are a few pictures of the small Tipro, with my PCBs! Blue stems, black springs. I intent to program it as a one-handed keyboard.

Update and update  It's of course not cancelled because I have all these PCBs. I started soldering switches, LEDs and diodes and made a base for (on half) of the case, but it will look so crap (and the thought of soldering all those LEDs with wires is very off putting) I've put that part aside...

I washed one of my Tipros one week ago, and assenbled it during the weekend. It works! But the soap removed all the lube/whatever from the stems, so there's lots of friction :/ Hopefully it's only temporary.

Webwit's post about the μTron's shift placements was the inspiration for the shift keys. And I thought that it would be better to change it more than less, to avoid confusion with regular keyboards.
