Re: [WTB]Phantom PCB TKL
What do you wanna use the PCB for? I'd recommend against the Phantom for pretty much any purpose other than as a Filco replacement. Having a PCB that requires a teensy is a real pain in the ass when it comes to finding/designing a casing.

Don't!thefarside wrote: ↑02 Mar 2022, 04:18Thanks I might give that a shot. I don’t have GPL 103 but I have Nyogel 767A and 760A and Max-Pro lubricant. I’ll see how they compare.
GPL 103 only. Even GPL 105 is too thick for MX blues, I think. It absolutely has to be a thin oil, I wouldn't recommend you even search for alternatives.

Re: How old is my G80?
Those flip-out feet, well, they do make some sense but I dare anyone to flip them out without fearing to break them. They need to bend quite a bit to unlock from the rear. And the rubber pieces tend to wander. You know, I actually prefer those old-style flip-out feet when it comes to using them. Bu...

Came here after seeing your comment on "For Sale". Very very beautiful custom keyboard and design! Thanks. It was a fun experience. Wasn't the best to type on, because 15 year old me had the wise idea of giving it a 28mm front height. Will have to make a more refined follow-up one of these days (te...

I either forgot or never knew our very own Sixty was as into it. He's the DT link. One of the very first informative posts about these keyboards made in English, written by the co-founder of this very website - sixty . As a side note, sixty is the reason I fell so deeply into these keyboards. He is...
Re: Frog TKL
Not true, thing is this would be a price if you convert US dollars to UK punds, but when you actually buy it, customs and UK vat is added. To explain more the price - I bought it from foreign guy, imported it to UK, paid £530, which included UK VAT, customs and hefty delivery, then added new Durock...

Except for the G80-1000 series. NKRO is very commonly found there. And luckily, those do show up in Poland semi-regularly.
Re: Frog TKL
How does one walk into Mordor and discover all that stuff, may I ask? Is it all in Korean, all in private channels, or both? It depends what you mean by that stuff . Do you mean the original Korean customs, the ones that started it all? Or do you mean customs in general? Customs are no longer local...
Re: Frog TKL
Just curious, how come this particular keyboard goes for half a beamer? It's CNC machined out of aluminium and brass, and it's manufactured in Korea. I could give more reasons, but that alone should tell you enough; CNC machining isn't cheap, especially outside of China. There are plenty of other m...
Re: Cherry MY
The reason I can say that Gateron reds are better than Cherry reds is because I had a Cherry red keyboard (Logitech, maybe) and all of the numeric keypad and function keys on the Apex Pro are Gateron reds. I am fond of yellow Alps, continuing on the linear theme. I've got an extremely nice black Al...

If anyone holds the answer to your question, I'm afraid they'll probably keep it to themselves
Re: Cherry MY
I've not tried all of the Cherry MX line, but I do think the Gateron brown, red, and blue switches are superior to Cherry's. I've tried a couple of different colors of Kailh, but I don't remember anything about them. I've tried several of the Kailh Box switches and those are very nice. I'm not real...

Re: Best Clicky Switches You've Tried
I’ll have to give this a try on some old MX blues I have. Where do you get GPL 103? A search online shows places to get quotes but not an order for a small amount. I'm probably not the most up-to-date; I bought mine years ago on eBay. It looks like there is a listing for it up on eBay US but there ...

Re: Best Clicky Switches You've Tried
1) Beamsprings. Not all beamsprings though, there's a huge variation between the ones I've owned. Some are middling, but my 3278 is a dream. 2) Vintage MX blues lubricated with a very minute amount of GPL 103 on the legs. Really, I'm not joking. It makes the click much more low pitched and makes the...

Re: [WTS - UK/EU] BFK, FK-2000+, FK-9200
I’d say 300 is a very good price considering: you don’t have to spend time hunting for one; it’s tested and working; delivery is included; the seller is completely reliable and does a top job packaging items. I'd say it's a good price too. At least, if you're in the UK/EU and you really want one. F...

Re: [WTS - UK/EU] BFK, FK-2000+, FK-9200
Six hunner is pretty cheap up in the Unobtainium highlands of IBM. Pretty sure you’ve got some top choice Cherries worth a lot more, as well. Anyway, we agree on the handsome DT discount. Ebay is made of strangers, while forums are full of friends. Aye but a BFK doesn't reside in the IBM highlands ...

'kinell I'm glad to see the prices here are much more approachable than your prices on eBay.
When I first saw that BFK up for 600 quid a few months back I was speechless, could only communicate via images

I'll be posting a proper album of this one when I get the chance, but time's been slipping by me like never before, so I suppose I'll give it a low effort showing off in the meantime. The first and only Fuji Xerox J Star II keyboard that I've been able to find evidence of. When I got it, I had no cl...
