Re: [WTB]Phantom PCB TKL

What do you wanna use the PCB for? I'd recommend against the Phantom for pretty much any purpose other than as a Filco replacement. Having a PCB that requires a teensy is a real pain in the ass when it comes to finding/designing a casing.

Do you have a sound demo on how it affects the sound laying around? I'm quite intrigued.
Not on hand, annoyingly I've got my modded MX blue board stored elsewhere. I'll try and remember to make one when I can.

Thanks I might give that a shot. I don’t have GPL 103 but I have Nyogel 767A and 760A and Max-Pro lubricant. I’ll see how they compare.
Don't!

GPL 103 only. Even GPL 105 is too thick for MX blues, I think. It absolutely has to be a thin oil, I wouldn't recommend you even search for alternatives.

Is there a full size keyboard with ML switches? The closest I've seen is the G84-5200, which might have all the keys, but the layout is a bit compressed.

You might want to rethink this part. No sane person would pay a member with no reputation, such as yourself, with BTC or ETH. Unless you're willing to ship the keyboard before receiving payment, of course.

Re: How old is my G80?

Those flip-out feet, well, they do make some sense but I dare anyone to flip them out without fearing to break them. They need to bend quite a bit to unlock from the rear. And the rubber pieces tend to wander. You know, I actually prefer those old-style flip-out feet when it comes to using them. Bu...

You're correct in your guess!

Going by the rear sticker and the style of flip-out feet, this model precedes their date code system. I would guess it dates back to sometime in 1987.

Not true, thing is this would be a price if you convert US dollars to UK punds, but when you actually buy it, customs and UK vat is added. To explain more the price - I bought it from foreign guy, imported it to UK, paid £530, which included UK VAT, customs and hefty delivery, then added new Durock...

Cherry G80 from this era usually don't have diodes and aren't NKRO. But with a replacement PCB like the GH80-3000 (if you can find one) it would do the trick.
Except for the G80-1000 series. NKRO is very commonly found there. And luckily, those do show up in Poland semi-regularly.

How does one walk into Mordor and discover all that stuff, may I ask? Is it all in Korean, all in private channels, or both? It depends what you mean by that stuff . Just curious, how come this particular keyboard goes for half a beamer? It's CNC machined out of aluminium and brass, and it's manufactured in Korea. This one took a month to sell at 450, this one took 2 and a half months to sell at 450 and was listed at 510 for about a month before that.

Both of these came with more extras than yours. I reckon you'd have better luck at 420, and in a more custom-centric marketplate.

The reason I can say that Gateron reds are better than Cherry reds is because I had a Cherry red keyboard (Logitech, maybe) and all of the numeric keypad and function keys on the Apex Pro are Gateron reds. 1) Beamsprings. Not all beamsprings though, there's a huge variation between the ones I've owned. Some are middling, but my 3278 is a dream. 2) Vintage MX blues lubricated with a very minute amount of GPL 103 on the legs. Really, I'm not joking.
