Yeah, they're definitely an option. The thing I worry about, going mail order to Britain though, is something like this: http://deskthority.net/post186348.html#p186348 Only with more ouch! I've seen handling fees like you people wouldn't believe… Attack slips on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I wa...

Could be possible to save some money with this:
http://www.tenso.com/en/landing/rakuten ... 0.html?top

I used Tenso when I bought my HHKB from amazon.jp, was a painfree experience all in all.

Had to go with the DS4. Even though I'm not one for backlighting and I don't really care that much for the design, they tried something different than the standard looking cases.

Would love a replacement plate, I can live with the missing components on the pcb as I could easily replace them, but I would like a ISO compatible plate as advertised.

Face U/MX-mini U replica knowledge base

Yeah, there is a picture in the build log that shows the cut. No way the plate was going to fit without modifying it. The problem is definitely with the plate itself, it does not have enough clearance to go past the stabilizers for ISO enter.

Had forgotten how heavy blacks actually are, been using a HHKB as my p...

Re: IBM SSK club!

What is the attraction with the industrial shells? Is it the looks or the fact that they are a lot more rare then their pale skinned brothers? Maybe a bit of both? Personally I prefer the regular ones when it comes to esthetics.

WYSE Terminal Boards

I'm only in it for the caps, got enough spare switches, Rinderbot is welcome to the rest if he wants it. What do you feel about me going 10 for the caps and you 10 for the rest?

Yay, got that sweet 1-2. Might only be interested in the caps depending on how much it would cost to send the whole board to me. So if somebody is interested in the rest then let me know.

Would it be possible to arrange for an European proxy even if SP is running the buy? I will probably have to opt out of the set if not as I would end up paying close to 50% of the sets value just in taxes/fees to get it to my doorstep.

Please don't use their GB system. Int shipping will be horrendous and I doubt they will be marking down the value of the parcels. For me that means an additional 25% in taxes on the combined value of the merchandise and shipping cost and a fee of 23$ just to be allowed to pay said taxes.

we settled for a 0.25 gap on the arrow cluster. The brownfox (my previous custom) has the arrows with no gap and I wish I put it. Also, DSA PBT set won't have the 7u spacebar unfortunately, so I'd try to avoid that unless really necessary. Ah, I read through the whole thread but for some reason dec...

I very much like the iso kmac layout, but I feel it should be slightly different like so:

Gets rid of the unnecessary gap between the ctrl and arrow cluster.
