Microsoft and genuine products is something that does not exist. Microsoft never brought out any innovation! They innovate in reasons to not use their OS  Seriously though, I think they suck, but that doesn't mean everything they did does. But then again, all of the things that come to m...

The thing is, the original fails to deliver, and now Cherry is copying as well. Dampeners nicked from Alps, clear housings nicked from Matias, and the RealKey©®™ either nicked or relicensed from that one Microsoft keyboard(Sidewinder I think?). Gateron outdid Cherry in their own field, and also work...

This is 2015, the only thing you're getting is a root certificate with adware. And with razer joining in it's gonna be even worse.

And here's what I think about the keyboard

That was innovated in mid-nineties by Alps with their damped switch.

Unless we use the Apple's definition of innovation, that's not a valid nomination.

Just wondering, would it actually work if you just plugged it into an internet port?

Please wait for somebody who knows this stuff better to confirm it wouldn't do any damage though, I have exactly zero experience with terminal keyboards.

bianca as of now is just a proof of concept, the discussion never went over "it's nice and it can be done". Seriously though, that's a very nice board, good job. I'm kinda surprised to see a mouse alongside of it though. Isn't it a pain to reach so far out for it? Have you ever tried a tiling window manager?

I suggest giving the Ping to DT already for the last year's voting(we all know which one).

Also I support 7bit's post about best ≥TKL and best <TKL and that the contestants should be boards that came out after last DTA.

The problem is, HyperMicro is too small(lack of the number row hit me the most), and HyperMini's symmetrical stagger layou...

It just struck me: instead of mini-pcb's, why not make switch to perfboard adapters? Sure, they're probably gonna be a bit wobbly, but you wouldn't need to care about layout restrictions or pcb segment size. And any non-prototype design can't be supported by a segmented pcb anyway so you'd need a pl...

I think the best way of doing this are stripes for 1u, 1.25u and 1.5u and making enabler-like single switch segments for other sizes.

As for sizes, I think 4 or 5 key stripes would be the the most flexible.
