Just a point of clarification: SA Dasher/Dancer wasn't designed by 7bit, but by me. :)

Now even though those switches may have been a bit scratchy and stiff, they nevertheless sounded great for such old linears. And those sphericals! Oh my! *love*

Round 7 will be going on for years to come, given all the colorways that are being offered. The current deadline would only be for the current colorway run, which is violet/cream.

The only way to really know what is available is to add kits to your order and see what shows up on your invoice. 7bit doesn't update his leftovers wiki page very frequently, and it becomes inaccurate pretty quickly even when he does.

I would love to see some R3 arrows. I use a Pok3r, and by default FN+IJKL are the arrow keys. I typically replace the IJKL keycaps with arrows. The R2 arrow you have is good for FN+I, but a set of three R3 arrows would be needed for FN+JKL. This would also be useful for 60% users who use FN+WASD as ...

I love that second-to-last render.

If there's one way to improve upon the Dolch colorway, it's to give it amber legends.

I don't actually know the current situation there, but 7bit has been collecting funds with the intention of paying SP for the first Round 7 colorway very soon. I can only conclude that somewhere along the way he must have somehow managed to convince them to continue making keycaps for him.

I try to register payments with 7bit within 24-48 hours of receiving notification from PayPal. After that, it is anyone's guess when 7bit will get around to turning the crank on his bot and getting everyone's invoices updated. You just have to be patient. 7bit group buys don't operate at the speed o...

If it doesn't appear in your invoice it is because they are all taken and 7bit simply hasn't updated his inventory wiki page to reflect this.

Well, I'm always on the lookout for a single-screen substitute for triple-monitor racing setups like this:

Since one massive, curved monitor would probably be prohibitively expensive, I guess I'll just wait for the Occulus to mature a little more.

I have tried the MX silent reds in a number of boards, and while they were indeed much quieter in terms of bottom out and upstroke noise, the slider friction instead became much more apparent, and that made the keyboard sound bad in a different way. It also had the psychological effect of making it ...

I don't normally like the sound of switches bottoming out, which is why I use Topre-based boards almost exclusively. However, the sound of those linearized Alps switches is actually kind of nice! It is what I always wanted from MX reds but never got from any of the contemporary boards I bought. I re...

The Filco keycaps aren’t black, they are a very dark brown, and the legends are corner legends rather than centered legends. They don’t match up with any other SA set I’ve ever seen.

Blasphemy! I know, right? But just look at what passes for a keyboard on laptops these days. This style has even infected Apple desktop systems. And with the kids these days tapping on tiny glass screens with their thumbs as the only typing they do , I get the sense that the days of traditional typ...
