Very good read. Thanks for sharing. This SSK I'm using is from Cindy, so I'm appreciative of her effort!

I think I know which shop you visited. I went there myself last month. It's like in a basement of a small little building.

Re: Great/Interesting Finds
Is G81-8016 considered mechanical? I'm more interested if the key caps are dye subs but I don't know enough to be sure. He has 10 of these so it's unlikely that it's mechanical at that price. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=291484009915 Sure not. Please read this: http://deskth...

Wow, sorry to hear that. I was in a car with an American colleague who broke the news to me. He said he's from Austin. It's not normal, right? This is not due to Hurricane Katrina or something?

Thanks meow and no, I just went with the USB mod. I'd love to have a coloured underlay but I have already reached the limit of my budget. Shipping this baby cost me almost $80 !($16 to Maxx, and $65 from Maxx to Malaysia) edit: stupid question, some SSK has IBM blue logo. Is it the date of the make ...

Re: Round 5 / shipping soon / leftovers for sale!!!
Key caps are now in Berlin. :o I'm quite sure I will get them on Tuesday. So, does that mean it will ship to us after this? My order is 0007, so I was one of the early ones, and have not been following its progress much. I don't even know what's the status. Perhaps a status updates via emai...

Re: Cherry MX Board 6.0 released May 2015
Well it's clearly aimed at gamers (the LED, the font, the 'speed', the marketing). It seems they finally woke up and noticed they form the bulk of customers in the mechanical keyboard market. Not for me, it looks like a toy. They probably have no choice especially once Razer decided to use Razer's ...

Re: NovaTouch TKL survey! We want you!! (and you a NovaTouch TKL :D?)!
Yeah but the question is phrased as such: "2. Do you know about the difference between a Topre Switch and a Hybrid Capacitive Switch" There is no difference in the mechanism, only the slider on top. Maybe they should have asked: do you know what differs on the Novatouch keyboard to all other Topre ...

Not a fan of VIM. I decided to go red with WASD ($3) and arrow cluster ($5). But I am surprise that there are so many types of arrow clusters! It's confusing. Since I bought just a simple TKL set, I decided to go with this arrow cluster to match the rows. Do you think it is ok? SHIPTRACKED HONEY/WAS...

You know, just rename the deep dished FJ to Boobs and you would have satisfied some customer here. I'd like to think deep dish = inverted boobs.
