Update: I just tried Model M 1391401 from 1988 on iPad using camera adapter and USB to SDL cable and to my surprise it worked just fine! That makes me wonder what is eating so much power in the HHKB if it requires more power than the old school IBM? It's not the switches for sure as 55G Realforce w...

I have to say I really find it tempting to take a look at the HHKB with bluetooth. Buuuut.... Could you please explain me how you get your stuff done without programming features? It has even less keys than a normal 60% keyboard... I understand that the keys are very good and I personally love the l...

Ok, I'll try to lube them! As I understand it it's not possible to clip the stabilizers without desoldering. Maybe I will do this when I eventually change to the GH60 (maybe I will change the plate to get a short right shift with an extra key so I will have to unclip everything anyway, but since my ...

I use 60% keyboards, formerly the Pok3r. I am from Germany and should use ISO, instead I use the ANSI-Layout. I find the left shift and the enter keys to be much more comfortable, which is the main reason. Nevertheless I use the german layout with ÄÖÜ and program some of the keys to be like ANSI. So...

Does the USB camera adapter for iPad still work with keyboards?
The question is in the title. I have an iPad mini 2 and want to know if I can plug in a pok3r... without spending 35€ just for trying.
Does anyone know if this still works?

Key "clattering" with Cherry stabilizers
Hey,
did you experience key clattering when using Cherry stabilizers? My bigger keys don't sound very mature with them...
Is there a way to fix this?
Best regards

There is no connection between "liked by most people, but not by some enthusiasts" and "broadly overrated" in my mind. If it was sold often ALTHOUGH it was very bad -> that's of course "overrated", but you definitely can't say that they are "very bad". Like in, they buy it because they read that the...

Protective carry case for 60%
Hey,
are there any protective cases to carry a 60% keyboard, aside from the wood ones? Just like a "hard cover".
Best regards

Why steel? Will be very expensive to shape - aluminium is much easier to get. I do like alu. Very sturdy, don't feels cold (feels certainly better than plastic!), looks like your keyboard is good quality, but is also heavy. Not the choice if you want to carry your keyboard around! Don't know about w...

mechsupply.co.uk is offering aluminium cases in the form of a groupbuy soon. For me, I like the wood and also the plastic cases. Lighter to carry and not that expensive. One can expect to pay a 100€ just for an alu case... that said, it's probably a good idea to buy a Pok3r, keep the alu case and se...
