Re: DT Update Log and TODO
I hope that this is a good place to report a potential future Chrome on Android bug (or feature - depending on how you see it): if the experimental option dark web contents is activated on Chrome Android, some images from threads and most likely all the black and white headers are colour flipped. Al...

Re: Price Check: How much is my _____ worth?
What do yo think about G81-3100SBU? Is there any at all? Is that a Belgian/French AZERTY? then the interest ins not that great for them as they are mostly searched for in french speaking territories. The keyboard itself, as it is is a G81, is not that valuable because it has membrane switches (G80 ...

May I ask you to try a tactile and a linear test too and let us know the results?

Well, most of us here are older and more mature. Also, we push away "trolls" and "drama queens" if they do not change their ways (I should know as I was in the second category when I joined DT)

Rant about Leeku MX1800 L3 pcb
I have a tx1800 v1 with a Leeku 1800 L3 pcb and it has been killing rgb leds at a rate of 1 or 2 every 2-3 months (depending on how much I use the keyboard). I also made a post in 2017 regarding the issue, when I also changed the RGB controller chips I think the Leeku does not have a "computer power...

Re: Lighting issues with Leeku L3 1800
Sorry for the necro, I'm having a similar problem with my board (brand new). What type of LEDs would I need to buy if I were to try replacing them? I will do the snake test to zero-in on the problematic one(s). Well, you need to identify the LED model first. There are a lot of RGB LEDs around. For ...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
The more screws it has the more it is likely to be rubberdome? not that alone, but also the fact that the case is not deep enough to hold normal switches. In the second picture you can see the the back of the case (there the legs are located) is taller than the part where the screws are. This tells...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
based on the number of screws on the back and the fact that the keyboard case doesn't look that deep (except the top where the controller, cable gutter and legs are located) it is most certain a rubber domeghostdawg187 wrote: ↑06 Mar 2019, 12:08PS: It is a Solidtek ACK-700, but I still don't know if it is rubberdome or not

Re: Classic SP DCS keycaps [Wyse] are underrated
I have a Wyse in impeccable condition and I absolutely love the keycaps on it. https://i.imgur.com/arFzaN2.jpg I was hopping to find a blue on grey moogle kit (to convert it to standard bottom row and from ISO to ANSI), but, alas, no chance, especially since it seems that the last GB for them was ma...

There is a preorder option on CandyKeys (german shop), but it is only for the clicky blue switches.

Re: Not Sure I'm Happy with Cherry MX...
Linear MX is pretty scratchy for such a famed (to the extent of total monoculture) switch. Even those brand new silent reds in my Majestouch make a shuffle-shuffle sound up and down I don’t hear from other linears. I don’t know why, but Cherry’s own implementation of the design is still disappointi...

Re: Not Sure I'm Happy with Cherry MX...
Well, for click and feel beamspring and buckling spring are universally considered to be the best, so, if you are searching for something comparable, I do not think you would have much luck. Regarding the MX Greens, sadly, Cherry's design for click switches is not the best that is why a lot of peopl...

dense thick plastic case with steel plate. The plastic case will absorb and dampen all the high pitched sounds that a switch will generate and the steel plate is rigid enough that it will not cause pinging. The best example I can think of is vintage alps switches. They work best in their original Ze...

it's a known technology. 3D dye-sub. You basically wrap the whole keycap not just the top. Then it's vacuumed and heated. It's not easy to do it right just because it requires more time and attention than standard dyesub. I was reluctant when they suggested it to me, but I saw the result and I'm im...

I am very curios regarding the technicalities behind the manufacturing process of this "reverse" dye-sub process. The keycaps I have seen until now printed with this process did not have the best results: https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1L_AZRVXXXXcGXpXXq6xXFXXXG.jpg?size=150023&height=750&width=1000&...
