Re: [WTB] Missing NCR SAU 5 key...
As already posted, I happen to have a numrow 5 (+%) from an incomplete dyesub set, but as far as I remember the keycap colour of the NCR keyboards differs slightly from that of "normal" dyesub caps. I would have to check against my own G81-3077 SAF  Unfortunately, ATM my stuff is stored in anot...

Re: Is there something about Cherry MX switches that make them more "clonable" than other designs?
You want to impress me? Invent a Cherry MX style switch that has it's tactile bump at the exact moment the computer picks up the keypress, like a Model M does. […] Isn’t that waht a rubber dome does? I don't think rubber domes have a tactile bump. If there is one, there is not enough of one to me t...

[…] Blacks were never meant for real typing, so I can't really judge them on that front. They're designed for taking a beating in a POS terminal or on a factory production floor, and punching in a handful of numbers at a time. […] Please allow me a good laugh. Re: Retyping Books
Well, if most of the books one deals with are e-books or digital versions of books, they will be quick to infer that these are 99% of all books On the other hand, if you take as example the catalogue of the French publisher Flammarion , you will see that they list a total of 13431 books, of which 83...

@hellothere: I actually meant the thread opener and was aware you offered solutions covering all the requirements, but obviously Muirium had made the QMK requirement moot in combination with Tipro.
Curious to read how it does.

Re: Looking for a recommendation on a macro pad
Of course I have much more elaborate macros like the complete sequence needed, when opening a google search, to reject all cookies, advertising and tracking, select the maximum number of answers (100), save the preferences and trigger the catcha code. Intriguing. Didn’t know there was a keyboard-on...

[…] I also checked the [Tipro] website and didn't see any Mac software for this device. The software is Windows-only, but once programmed the pad can be used with any OS, - Mac, Linux, you name it. Re: Looking for a recommendation on a macro pad
I know it's moot, at this point, but you could just get an ortholinear keyboard and use that as a macro pad. You'd need a Hasu USB to USB converter. I han't thought about that. That's actually a pretty good idea. That would make a huge numpad with a lot of options. Not sure whether you missed my po...

Pretty sure this has everything you want and a bit more. I'm not 100% sure. Depends on if, "The shaft body can be replaced, and the high-quality shaft seat of Kaihua is used. The replacement of the shaft body does not require welding, and it is compatible with most MX mechanical shafts," means "hot...

Re: Looking for a recommendation on a macro pad
You should consider (no surprise here  ) a Tipro macro pad like this one: https://www.ebay.it/itm/295252836950 Every key is freely programmable on 4 layers, and using the pad does not require any software (while programming does, but can be achieved on another computer as the programmed configu...

Re: Jarltech Cherry MX blue matrix [FS]
Both keyboards in your pics share the absolute same case.
This is a common feature in Tipro keyboards. So there is just one type of screw for all parts.
You can easily recognize a Tipro by its 8x16 matrix, by the way. Most others (including the Jarltech in the first post) have 7x15.

Re: Jarltech Cherry MX blue matrix [FS]
How do I know?
Well, first of all Jarltech is a company of their own with no ties to Tipro:
https://www.jarltech.com
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jarltech
And then, of course, I had one of these Jarltech keyboards
It is a 8011 model and is programmable only under MS-DOS.

Re: Keyboard + Footswitch + Chording as an Accessability Option.
[…] I think it's good to at the very least get the modifier keys off the keyboard. I'm lazy and dumb so I generally will use one hand to do both functions.
