The way the Model M barrel plate is currently set up, you'd have to place the function key to the left of the right Shift key (that's so the M barrels can support ISO/ANSI/JIS with only a change in spring position, stabilisers, and keys ).

Sweet! The sticky right column could just mean that the key frame isn't aligned with the case - I think there's a little bit of adjustment available where it bolts on. Mine had the barrel plate shifted to the right, I needed to give it a love-tap with a rubber mallet to get the keys to stop sticking.

A temperature controlled one is a must, since most things use RoHS solders these days that need hotter temps to melt. A wide chisel tip is also needed.

Tin mentioned shipping more this coming Friday, the US proxy has most(?) of the Kishsavers bound for North Americans. No clue on the European proxies' status.

Lexmark took out a patent on an even lower profile buckling spring variant, but to my knowledge no prototypes were ever produced. Probably ditched the effort due to the complexity.

A slightly damp washcloth, cotton swabs, a bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol for cleaning the case. Denture tabs and a bowl of warm water for the keycaps.
