Re: Post a picture of your ideal keyboard layout!
Of course, my reasoning is somewhat weakened by people who hit space bars with palm  No worries! They are covered by the new, exciting, Palmer™ keyboard. Palmer.png (it even comes with an extra set of titanium stabs, because replacing those if when they break is quite a b*tch!) Thos...

Re: Tell me about your experience with dome boards
Any particular Keytronic boards you guys could recommend? The ErgoForce really stood out for me. All their other RD boards that I tried were very mediocre. It is the best one to buy. It has variable weighting; possibly the first key board that had it. It is always labelled "ErgoForce" and always fe...

Re: Tell me about your experience with dome boards
I have a Compaq board with NMB dome with slider and the keyfeel is quite solid imo with decent tactility and weighting. The board itself is quite hefty and sturdy for a rubber dome board. I use it at work from time to time. As a daily driver I use a 88U with 45g switches and it is the perfect switch...

Re: //gainsborough's sale thread
That 5140 seems like a neat little Alps board, and in great condition as well. It would be awesome to be able to make a converter as well as perhaps a case for it so that it could be put to use :) Copter actually did that! That F122 is such a beauty  A lot of work has probably gone into that board :) I wish I had the some extra funds atm  Also shipping that thing to the EU would certainly not be cheap either ;) Anyway, GLWS :D Edit: I also wish I had a bigger desk to fit that huge board  Hahaha - it ...

Re: Great/Interesting Finds
The key feel is quite awful - like poking a mattress, but the SSK layout looks interesting. What do you think? Should I give it some care and post more pictures or is it trash/not interesting? Yes, please don't kill it of just yet. We would like to hear more about the "Sun SSK" :D The layout looks ...

Re: Reasonable?
As Matteo pointed out, they should have offered to refund you when they realized the boards you ordered wasn't in stock. You purchased the boards based on the information that they where immediately available. If one takes that into account then waiting close to 3 months for something thats supposed...

Re: Reasonable?
3 months?? Thats sound way to long. What model(s) was it, Pro2 or Type-S? Was it pre-order? I bought a Type-S in the beginning of December (which I ended selling in February as the layout was sadly not for me) and the Type-S arrived at the end of January without to much of a delay. I myself haven't ...

( just a tip from someone who uses an F122 in an open office) To be able to use a F122 in an open office environment sounds awesome :D I'm using a 88U at work, and even thou its quite silent, I still get frustrating looks from a co-worker, who uses a Apple Magic keyboard btw, whenever I really hamm...

[SOLD] Stock HHKB Pro 2 Type-S
Hello everyone :) I would like to sell my stock HHKB Pro 2 Type-S. The board is about a month old and has seen moderate usage during that time. I bought it to give smaller form factors than TKL a last chance, and although its a great board I've now come to the conclusion that it doesn't fit my needs...

Re: Topre Realforce 101 ML0100 showcase
That sure is a beautiful board, simple and elegant :) The wider case/bezel design of older Topre boards look so good imo. Also the Realforce logo placement being on the lock light bank makes it stand out less, and that ads to the overall simplicity. How is the variable weighting like to use on a dai...

I have some version 1 RF87U boards that I've silenced with my own "Hypersphere silencing rings" along with lubing the switches using Super Lube 51010 synthetic oil and lubing the stabilizers using Super Lube 21010 synthetic grease. Although this procedure entails opening up the keyboard and all the...

Re: Realforce R2 PFU Limited Edition
A well written and a very thorough review :) Made me consider upgrading to the R2 TKL from my 88U. ~ Silencing mats. The box also contains two rubber mats in different thicknesses that can be installed on the plate by first removing the keycaps. This will provide even more silencing at the expense o...

Great review as always, and a very interesting piece of Cherry history :) Would you say that this is the best foam and foil board that you've tried? Shame that you can't easily use it, sure would make I nice daily driver. Too bad that its missing that one Alt keycap. Is the mount just like a 90° rot...

The set you linked has problem with qc, The overall quality is pretty poorly were some legends doesnt match and some even has a significant more rough or smooth surface than other keys. I agree with the OP. I put Topre 55g domes in my Realforce 104UG HiPro. It feels positively sublime after the conversion. Expanding the converters so that they become easier to use and understand is a great direction. I think that t...
