You put floss in the springs of your board and it reduces the pinging. it's not the same as what you did

Your wiring is correct and it seems you flashed the firmware fine since the computer is recognizing it. Hasu's docs say that a pull up resistor may be needed. So certainly could be a reason. What's the problem that you seem to be having? Make sure the keyboard is connected to the converter before plugging the converter into your PC.

it is connected but none of the keys are doing anything when pressed.
