Re: Great/Interesting Finds

This is so utterly ridiculous. 250€ for a lasered-caps run-of-the-mill G80-3000 - and its not even in great condition. Gives me violent ideas...

Re: Great/Interesting Finds

A set of two plates / PCBs with Aristotles and one with (vintage?) Cherry MX white for 25 quid, possibly less with offer. What are you waiting for? (Postage from UK kinda kills it for me and I'm no longer in awe of any -totles...)

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

Do these look like other Acer (Multitech) Accufeels people have seen? They seem linear at first but have a tactile event towards the bottom (when the slider hits the membrane?). Very sturdy early to mid-80s board with metal plate (for an Apple clone, I believe). Shoit, though, as I was hoping for AL...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

Thanks for the info! The seller has asked me to contact him again in two weeks' time so I guess there are plenty of other takers...

As for these: Cherry inside? (Wyse clones?)

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

Anything worth shelling out for in this picture? The green keys' colour (top right) is reminiscent of Cherry TA boards, but everything else about those board seems rather un-Cherry. Bottom right? On the top left, the F-XT is obvious, with a cheap (?) F-AT clone beneath it (possibly Alps or MX-clones...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

The layout is also similar to this Harvest / Omron board, but the double-curved compact case probably means it's something less desirable. https://archiwum.allegro.pl/oferta/stara-klawiatura-harvest-kb-5349a-st-1825-klik-i6909670289.html What is this thing? https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/2...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

Anyone care for some potato-spotting in this very nasty pile? Some of these appear to have been sun-toasted to a fine crisp! Well, I can spot a Cherry 1000 at the top right and a Model M(?) at the top left of the pile. Possibly the wavy sides of one or two AEKs further down. Something Siemens-...

Re: Great/Interesting Finds

Three Acer KB-102AS are up on German eBay, at least one with photo-confirmed blue ALPS. Pretty well yellowed, though...

Quite a flood of these around just now, eh?

Re: Great/Interesting Finds

anybody else thinking that ebay kinda dried out? Acutally, I've been thinking just that a lot for the last half year or so. Kleinanzeigen, too. Maybe a sort of critical moment has come where most of the remaining interesting vintage keyboards are already in the hands of collectors and laypeople hav...

Yes, Rafi-made for sure!

Myoth: I actually found an NMB board with space invaders in a practically identical case. What made you assume it's sliders-over-dome?

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

That's a *very* good rubber dome made by NMB. It is not, however, mechanical, even though it is noisier than quite a few clicky boards.

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

I reckon this has Fujitsu leaf springs in a very cool compact layout. High shippings costs kill it, of course. But maybe there's someone here from Australia who has a taste for it.

If anyone wants one of those Siemens boards in the first picture let me know and I'll get them for you for 15€ plus shipping. There are also a G80-3000 LPMDE and a G81-1000HAD to be had from that seller. Let me know if interested. I want that NCR. Is that Apple (?) board at the bottom of the second ...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

I'd get that Olivetti board if it's no more than 5 - 10€. Should have interesting short travel switches.

The one behind that should be a Monterey K208 (rubber dome).

The rest is modern crap...

Well, the bidders list shows obvious shill-bidding.
The "bidder" shown as e***a (144) in the bid history is or has been bidding, as the details of his own bid history reveals, on multiple articles of the same seller in many different categories:
