The primary reason i wanted this is to find an alternative to my blue alps board (my roomate has been complaining alot recently about The noice) and i dont like cherries, nor do i want linears.
You are saying though, that outside of modding, black is The only way for a PAL board?

Does Salmon/Orange/Cream alps exist in any EU keyboards?
I have really wanted to try out some tactile alps switches recently, but since i have been unable to find any (except blacks of course), it makes me wonder, did they even make any EU keyboard with them? Also, in case they don't, should i try my luck with blacks or are they really as bad as everybody...

Hm, you're probably right. I've never taken apart a spring over membrane keyboard before, hence my confusionChyros wrote: ↑The thing below the module looks very much like a membrane tbh Oo . Either way, the board looks badass!

Maybe it's my eyes or the photo, but the corners of the caps on that Model M look much softer and more rounded than what I am accustomed to. Yeah, definitely looks that way. The lock lights are also quite different. Enjoy the Model M! If you've never tried buckling springs yet, you're in for a trea...

I just had these two babies delivered to me.
So an relative of mine apparently found these in a corner of his work recently and wondered if i was interested in them. The first one is a Digital (DEC) RT102 with NMB domes and PS/2 contact, not really that special but feels really nice for a dome keyboard. DSC_0096.JPG DSC_0093.JPG The second one...

Is it known whether or not this particular board is AT (PS/2) or not? If it's a proprietary protocol for the Nokia setup it'd make sense if it doesn't work right. If it is plain AT or PS/2 I'd check out the foam\foil pads to see if they deteriorated and some fell on the PCB. These boards didn't age...

Interesting, my own Key Tronic foam and foil board had the same problem. It also had a bunch of DIP switches but no combination would get it to work. While we're at it; do the switches in yours feel any good? Well, cant say i have had much experience with Foam/Foil boards before but yea, i like it....

In need of some Help with this thing
ok, i recently acquired this nokia branded Keytronic board which i think (going by the extra keys (one's missing)),was used in one of their old Telephone switches. DSC_0258.JPG DSC_0261.JPG The problem though comes when i try to plug it in, my computer goes haywire since (as far as i can understand)...

Very grainy picture ;( Anyway, things not consistent with Cherry: -LED shield and placement of the LEDs -Alignment of Caps Lock Legend -Backspace symbol -The keys of the numpad all seem to have the same profile -The shape of the case seems non-Cherry-esque to me There's probably more. No Cherry. So...
