The investor did back out, the timing of the ripped off 3D renders coincided with him doing so and then the prototype photo was posted by those copying it. But them being connected is only my opinion. I do know that Lowpoly (the inventor of the Miniguru) was positively furious about the blatant knoc...

1. It's a knock off of a Clack Factory skull
2. It was poorly executed knock off that is far inferior to the original.

Is it honestly that hard for someone to come up with their own ideas?

Why would you make a knock off click clack skull? (Flame me if you want but someone has to say it) Surely you could have come up with something more original? Or was ClickClack involved in some way? If he was, then my apologies. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-BKAuqWN-osA/T_HnuEJcn5I/AAAAAAAACfA/...

Many exploits are Java, Flash or Adobe Reader based now so you're not safe on anything if you are unpatched and even then not always. :)

But you're definitely more secure on Linux than most Windows or Mac users. (Oops, did I just open a can of worms?)

I don't think anyone knows for sure since quite a few things were done to the server at different times, but if you're patched and have antivirus you're probably ok.

Thanks. I haven't done an AHK script for the current revision shown yet, had one for a very similar layout previously.
AHK is nice if you swap boards a lot, if you don't then sharpkeys to edit registry works well.

Yeah, looks like a "monetized" park page was chosen. Maybe r00tw0rm can buy ad space from namesecure to regain some traffic.

There was someone on Geekhack who discovered that Model F AT had a few extra capacitative pads, added keys to these positions -- and they worked! No extra pads on the XT PCB? ;) *crossing my fingers* . * "Model F XT ended " Model F XTended, or XTended Model F sounds awesome. Here's a Model F AT tha...

IBM PC AT Model F - Mod layout

Since I use arrow keys more than a numpad, this mod seemed fitting. I like having vertical enter on the right because I pop it with my mouse thumb, allowing me to keep my hand on the mouse if needed and I don't have to move my left hand from home row. Having delete and insert in "normal" locations i...

Love this idea!

You should incorporate XT in it to designate which board it was based off of. Since there were multiple model F's, you could end up with confusion if other boards get mods.

It suddenly occurred to me that it would be unethical to travel back in time and not try to kill Hitler (based on arguments elsewhere in this thread). Tarantino did it in Inglorious Basterds. A parked page is definitely an improvement over hosting r00tw0rm's bragging rights and infecting innocent rubber dome users searching for a way out.

Glad it's been done, it was the noble thing to do.

Do you have any proof people haven't? The server has been compromised multiple times and is still compromised. The only safe assumption is that it is and has been infecting visitors.

Webroot unmaps my remaps

I remap capslock to control they way it should be. I use sharpkeys to create the registry hack for me (Win7) Freaking webroot which is an amazing antivirus btw undoes this mapping sporadically. One key press might be control, the next might be capslock. I've verified it's webroot by uninstalling/rei...

it is in our favor to let them think we have given up. regardless, they're not bothering us at the moment. every time we move to take control of the domain they escalate, so we're laying low for now. Not bothering YOU? What about your responsibility to site visitors who aren't patched and unknowing...
