those unicomp boards are a streal, even with 16 pounds shipping to germany. Who would be interested in one of them? I can possible run the group buy, but i would ask for people to cover my board for the trouble of dealing with shipping and everything.

The switch is a plunger over dome, with individual rubber ...

YES! i want three leds on every key. One for backlighting, one for a strobe effect across the board and another that will blind the user when they try to look at the keys. I call this concept "blind-monk touchtyping mastery method".

Everybody here hates foam and foil so much. It is still an inherently capacitive design with what I think some great hacking potential. Replacing the foam with a little spring would make for a very nice little switch I think. GuilleAcoustic - nothing is for sale yet but I have all of Cindy's remain...

Getting a used Canon or Nikon will be the more future proof option. True, you will most likely spend a year with only one or two lenses, but you will need that time to get used to the camera and break it in anyways. Faced with a similar decision two years ago I went with a used Nikon I picked up loc...

Do you think it would be possible to take the 24 key MX module with the LED display and turn it into a programmable bar of keys with minimum effort? I don't need an MY board, but I would love to have a bar of hotkeys for my CAD work, especially with ten layers.
