Just a heads-up: HONEY/FUNCTION contains both CUT and PASTE but not COPY. COPY was included in R3. Not sure if this is an oversight ( :-? ) or a deliberate omission ( )

I like grey/orange as an idea, I already have pale Cherry DS with R3 grey/dark-grey/Moogle, plus red Esc/Return, which is kind of similar to the Honeywell scheme... would be nice to have some dark, ie. near-black, alphas. Also, I'll post this just because I can: http://www.hpmuseum.org/98xx/98303qs....

It was worse than a smart-phone, at least you don't have to type in all the programs again every time your smart-phone crashes ! (Don't get me started on the horrors of using cassette-tapes as 'storage' ) Haha yes, good old cassettes... having said that, in my own collection the ones that use...

"Fog" looks a lot like R3 alphas and vintage Cherry DS modifiers etc. I've had those on my Filco TKL for a while but recently changed to a different combo. Might have a photo somewhere.

@mr_a500: That is awesome. I love the numpad. Or hexpad, perhaps? Which would be even better. :) What's the keyboard on the left? Reminds me of one of the TRS-80s, though I know it isn't one. BTW, I have a phone like that in red... perhaps it's time to dig it out of the cupboard and install it in th...

Zardoz is great, for all the best reasons  As for Silent Running, the attentive amongst us may notice that some of the special effect model shots were re-used in the original Battlestar Galactica series. BTW, I'd add Battlestar Galactica (original) to the list, if series are allowed. I think my...

Oh wow. Way back we had a school trip to the Media Museum in Bradford to make a 'news broadcast', badly scripted, terrible make-up, etc. I did the title sequence on my 128k Spectrum. Hmm, I've not seen that type of keypad on anything bigger than a calculator. My Casio FX 730P Pocket Computer has a membrane; the springy metal bubbles would not particularly be easy to type on, I think.

I'd be surprised if it were anything as complicated for the thickness as an Alps-style mechanism. I don't know when scissors became popular. It may even be just a stiff rubber dome of sorts... not seen any internals of the keyboard yet, only the main board. I've had stuff before which just used a co...

Back to keyboards, there was the Sord M5 from around 1983/4 or so, which had flat keys, again at least visually like the recent Apple boards.
