Re: Macintosh KTK-1086 VER 1.2 Microcontroller Replacement

Since missing the controller, making an adapter is not a go anymore. Easiest way is to figure out the whole matrix and connect rows&cols to teensy and remap all keys with QMK. The components are not needed anymore either but you could leave em there or just remove them, its your preference. Reusing ...

NeXTthority feature request! I just tried registering as a user there. >=3 letters required?! C’mon! I wanna be Mu. (Since that’s what people actually call me, as my palindromic username doesn’t roll so easily off the tongue…) Impressive that you registed here so early and still being active. :)

I would speculate that the 138xxxx model number makes this a Model M, not a Model F.

Very unusual sub-legends that I haven't seen before.
Unusual f122 always went a war on ebay, happened couple times. This one maybe not that special but curious how much would end up with.

Re: Great/Interesting Finds

Since I won't get around to documenting it until I've restored it, I thought I'd just quickly mention: as I expected, it has Hirose MX. Oranges on the alpha cluster, browns (yes, Hirose browns) on the two spacebars and the enter. Most unexpectedly, the three other clusters all have a previously und...

I won it. The main reason I bid so high is that I've always loved the Xerox Star keyboard with Hiroses, ever since kps first posted it here in 2014. I've never seen one show up for sale in all those years so when this jp version showed up I didn't want to let it slip through my fingers. I was expec...

It looks great to have a space between!! IMG_0796 copy.jpg By the way, I'm getting loving the three little spacebars design, no need to move fingers much after remapped bspc, spc, ent from left to right, especially when bunch coding or pure typing. It'd be, were they not poorly placed. ...

in pinyin jié kè bō, has similar sounds as my real name, Jacob.
that explained why I found its easily pronounced when put it in Chinese language system, I thought it's coincidence at first.
