Hmm I don't know about the new model F, but on the originals you have to triple check if the grounding wire is properly attached. Try that.

Baking soda with very little soapy water, do not dilute the baking soda. use it lightly and carefully. It's like a using a very very fine sandpaper. You definitely want a dry lube - anything else will collect dust. That said, a thicker grease is good for stabilizers. Thanks! diddnt know that about the stabilizers! Yikes really?
