Well, the SSK remains a brilliant keyboard in it's formfactor, less so in the well known IBM membrane switch. Good post.

Yea leaf spring is like the dream switch, since linears are, as we all know, the best :D
Preference really. LS 3rd gen is the smoothest though. Almost like typing on air.

I quite like my Matias Laptop Pro but in the future I'm planning on swapping for complicated Alps. I'd really like PBT caps since the legends are already wearing off, but Matias has also been promising that for several years. I own a Matias mini tactile pro, it's OK but not great. Matias switches never even come close to clean unworn Alps SKCM. They're not total shit but not on the same level. Shame really.

Olivetti L1 ANK 1426 / Olivetti Snap-Action / L1 Operativo MOS

This is the Olivetti L1 as shown by HaaTa years ago. The interesting part are the Olivetti snap-action switches that have nothing in common with the other shitty Olivetti switches and are more like Alps SKCP series the Alps "plate spring" very nice in feel and sound. I'd estimate 35g with a nice "li...
