I'm guessing left Ellipse, right Original, I'm taking the stuff on the right cap as being small bits of dust accumulated over decades.

Honestly for a 40% refund that's totally worth it.

I cleaned mine with isopropyl alcohol.

I found weird oil just like that in some skcl greens I bought, thought it was just botched lube but now I wonder if it's something else.
