Topre has the feel of strong rubber dome where mx blue has the feel of a tactile, clicky, non-linear switch. Very different.

I would recommend you make your own tray using something like that (have a look at the 3rd picture): http://www.ebay.de/itm/300463330180 I hadn't thought of that actually. Hmm, not sure how easy this would be with a desk like this http://www.ikea.com/us/en/images/products/galant-desk__20944_PE10599...

Favorite Keyboard Tray?

Hey all. So I am moving into a new place and getting a new desk. It is a gallant from Ikea. Now don't make this a discussion about desks. That being said, the keyboard tray that Ikea was selling was crap: short and cheap. Now I don't mind saving on the desk, but I have decided to try to find a good ...

As someone who loved the buckling spring mechanism, I found mx blues to feel cheap and flimsy. Mx greens have a bit more force but don't compare at all. That being said if you like the feel of mx blues and want something requiring more force mx greens are the way to go.

Hmm, seems that this board is indeed dead after following your instructions jBert. I'm gonna have to pull out some of the other terminal boards I have and try wiring them up instead. Will post updates when I have completed that task.

Do you know what the colors would be for the silver tag XT/AT style adapters? I have a few of these and the RJ-45 one was the one that I wanted to try first since it was the only one that didn't have a cut cord. I don't see colors listed on the keyboard babel site sadly.

Props for the keyboard being manufactured in Illinois, hell yeah.

Ouch, that's as I feared... backwards :( http://forgifs.com/gallery/d/52654-1/anger.jpg Edit: after re-do of backward ass colors, I load up the teensy, reflash with Soarer_at2usb_v1.02_at90usb1286.hex -- reboot unit and attempt standard key-presses but fail to have any of the keys working.

I haven't had that problem with scinfo, only with scrd. After running scboot you would need to click the 'run' button in the Teensy loader program, or replug the USB, but that's expected :D So the order would be: 1. Flash teensy 2. scas example.sc example.scb 2. scwr example.scb 3. scboot 4. hit bu...

No I just don't like rubber dome keyboards :)

They should stick to making pressed auto parts, office automation equipment and A/C equipment.

Hey, that's a trick question! No fair! It's both, and neither! Typically the PS/2 port on a PC is configured to translate scan code set 2 into set 1, which is what the BIOS and Windows both see. But since 101/102-key keyboards use an extended version of set 2, this results in an extended version of...

Welcome to the club! Interesting choice on the switch differences, but I can see where this would be beneficial. MX whites are great I just got to try them the other day for the first time and they are quite unique, almost like a better version of blues!

I have a Chincony KB-5181 with MX Blues old AT adapter naked without keys (they were so worn down it was awful) fully functional but there are bits of rust on the board. It was in quite bad shape but I fixed it up.

So if your old bike comes in at 15lb you are doing very well. This exactly is true.
