[Video] Putting together a Satan GH60 / Magicforce / Infinity keyboard

This was a fun little build. It took roughly forever for the Gateron Greens to get from China to me, but I like how it turned out. And yes, I'm aware that I probably could have gotten this made for me by someone on AliExpress. It's more fun to do the labor myself

Hi Atrere, your workbench teases with curiosities scattered seemingly at random. A cunning ploy to solicit more questions -- I see what you're up to, I shall bite: What's in the box and to the left of the screen? And what is the chiptune? My young daughter is into game soundtracks, I'm confident that she'd like to know.

[edit] I forget my manners: A very nice result it is too. Thanks for taking the trouble to share.

Thank you :)
The chiptune is Moist Mechas by Sim Gretina (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4HUqvzqnEQ), which is part of his Royalty Free series. On the subject of chiptunes, I'd also like to recommend the bands Anamanaguchi and Slime Girls.

As for the box: It's a bunch of Alps SKCM White / Black, IBM Model F, and Cherry MX Blue keyswitch keychains, made out of the leftovers from various other projects. To the left is the keyboard module from a Silver-Reed electric typewriter from the early 80s, using a curious stacked spring-dome design that's somewhat like Fujitsu Peerless switches, with some Televideo terminal keycaps. It cannot yet communicate with a computer, and it will take a very long time for me to sort that out. Also, the scattered keycaps are from an IBM Selectric that was irreparably broken mechanically. They're compatible with beam springs, though.

Dang, that rabbit hole just keeps going deeper. Sim Gretina plays some mean Electro Swing tunes! :-)
