I'm afraid the content will probably give me away anyway :D. What is the reason the country of the participants is posted as well, since this makes it easier for people to guess who their Secret Santa is? Or is that the whole point? ;P

I will be found out as well so it's not only you, What's worse is that I'll have to declare what's in the box on the outside label for Customs :( Oh well.

Some stuff like country just makes it easier for me to compile the lists of who gets who. I try to fulfill requests like "Can I get someone inside an EU country?" and I'm too lazy to make a separate list elsewhere with countries for my own use.

At the same time, it's not like the majority of us don't already have a location set in our profile. Whether country or specific part of a country.

I'm pretty sure the receiver of mine will be able to guess who its from ... even without the customs declaration :-P

Mine is leaving today (though the shipment info was live last Friday). I've had two day shipping overseas with this carrier, though, so it shouldn't be long.

I dropped mine at the post office on 4th of December, still confident it will arrive in time.
Shipped a parcel to Korea and it took more than three weeks ... Shipping around christmas time is crazy.

Had to start again, package triggered the radiation detectors so have to reduce the contents before shipping it again.

I didn't manage to ship mine, but since the recipient is in Germany as well it'll arrive on time when I ship it this weekend.

Ah, just found a good gift on craigslist for my secret santa after weeks of looking every day. Now just to make sure it wont cost me a months rent to ship the sucker.

Mine arrived yesterday. Can't wait to open it. Judging by the rectangular shape, it's a huge bar of chocolate

When are we supposed to open them? Do we have to wait until the 25th? :(
Also are we posting pics of the stuff we open on this thread or will another one be created?

I meant huge. As in lots of planks fused together.
Or it could be a cutting board and a set of knives.
Ah, the suspense is killing me ;)

Feel free to open whenever, whether it's today or next year. I know I sure wouldn't want to wait.

No, no. I'll wait at least until the week before Christmas. I'm too busy at work right now to properly enjoy it. I'd rather wait for my days off :-D
