Not really. Certain caps have merit, to be sure. One in particular converted me into an artisan appreciator, though I'll likely never be able to afford one!

Exactly, everyone voting for the popular guy who adds nothing of value is a lot different than voting for the plain Jane who has incredible talent.

Obviously a lot of this is subjective, but almost any vote for a "best anything" will be. For me this was a close call between EatTheFood, Booper/KK and Jelly key. Fugus et al. might have been the most popular and generally accessible artisan keycaps. Jelly key's craftsmanship and designs are nothing short of incredible. The Booper/KK Kosmonavt was probably the best design of 2016 overall.

Lots of great stuff in 2016.

Voting for Key Kollective's Fruit Reboot! I wish I could own every one of their artisans, which isn't something I could say about many other artisan makers
