I ordered new ones each year, except this year, because I still had some in stock (in case there were equal amount of votes for multiple winners).

An Alps version will be expensive... clickclack would need to make a new mold, and we need to get more stock because it's not known in advance which version the winners will pick.

Would that even be possible, though? Buckling spring caps are so hollowed out by the mechanism, while Alps, Topre and MX all ride on top of a narrow slider.

Other clacks do exist with buckling spring mount, so it would certainly be possible...
