You Germans and your ruthless, fast shipping. Count yourselves lucky. If you were over here you'd get a beat up box of shards, two Mondays from now, and you'd like it!

Oooh… another jigsaw puzzle.

I hear you. In this case shipping was semi-fast by German standards. The mug is nice, good job Matteo. Even the DHL guy liked the cool looking box.

True. The card is a coupon on the back. Get € 10,00 discount on any order from € 50,00 up.

The portion where they're driving in a circle... Many Americans need that sort of training, with the way they drive in the "Newfangled Roundabouts" around town.

So maybe the nice box justifies the 8€ shipping... I'll better cough up the money then, I really want that mug!

Twisted-funny, I like it

@ mtl I am german and still don't understand what they said on the phone! Well, except for a few insults...

No mankinis, no top hats.

Blast. I could always use a nice new hat. Once you've worn one enough, it gets a bit ageing…

Well I guess that means your mankini collection is still in top shape.

Well it's not like they get much wear up here…

For the designer it simplifies the choice of the location of the dt logo.

wondering... are images on patents public domain?

Patents are published as part of the terms of granting the patent to the inventor. Subject to limited exceptions reflected in 37 CFR 1.71(d) & (e) and 1.84(s) , the text and drawings of a patent are typically not subject to copyright restrictions.

Cool. I wonder if that also applies outside the US to European and other foreign patents, however. I suspect Her Majesty's Government over here has different rules. We have this thing called "Crown Copyright" which applies to all sorts of government publications, which would all be free for public use if we were like America.

ordering a mug or two for sure.

Also, anyone else remember our real mascot?

I got my mug today. Pretty little thing. Very well packed, so the risk of destructive post workers crushing it is fairly small, I'd say.

Now, my only question is why shipping is so much faster to Germany.

It's probably cheaper as well.

Bastards.

Because Germany = efficiency.

Oh, I'd have thought it was efficiency ≡ Germany. No?

I'm not either...

Just wondering why, but if efficiency is Germany, then I can understand it :D

My mug was ordered (thanks to MrsXMIT for the gift) and received. It looks just like seebart's except the card was in English.
