PM notification issue

I ceased receiving email notifications of incoming PMs although my preferences in my user control panel have not changed (both boxes for "Someone sends you a private message" are checked in Board Preferences > Edit notification options)

Let me test that…

Mine was working as of Friday. But I have heard people complaining theirs aren’t.

Ding ding! PM test success on my side, but still an email failure for our Tipro correspondent.

The whole system is still working for me. Strange. Resetting your account preferences may help. Seems like a database thing, given it hitting some user accounts but not others.

If I remember correctly what I did, checking and saving, and then unchecking and saving again, the option "users can contact me by email" in the User Control Panel under "Edit global settings" now allows me to again get PM notifications per email.

My settings remain unchanged: user email, admin email, and private messages are all allowed. But yes, toggling made sense for you.
