Yup, Omrons (Om noms

) more resemble Alps sliders.

These purely rectangular sliders are KPTs, KPT-like switches (these ones IIRC), or TECs.

Thanks for your nice picture,gogusrl. You have a rare brown shell with green slider for space bar. Is it clicky?
The "Brown shell with pink slider" version also have that green slider too,but my white version without that.

Not sure what switches those are from (need some more close-ups of the switches).

They sorta remind me of the Teletype capacitive switches, but I'm pretty sure these aren't capacitive. My guess would be some sort of reed switch without any more information.

Any chances for switch disassembly?

The seller will ship these two keyboard(same switches and brand but not the same model) to me tomorrow.
And someone help him converted the unknown port to USB on one keyboard.
I"ll clean and disassemble the switch completely when I received them.

I got this a while ago with other old Micro Switch keyboards. The switch is linear. I can't see a date anywhere. I hope the pictures are good enough. Any idea guys? A german company by the name of eltec does exist, no idea if it is the same one.

Looks like waffle frame. (I always forget the official name.) Those were plentiful, way back. Scratchy, right? And the little HiTek praying hands as the contacts in the middle?

I love the co-legends on the alphas that indicate the ASCII code sent when you hold down CTRL. That's awesome. I think I kinda want alphas like that now. Maybe a Round 6 design...

you can get bit-paired number row on some ISO KBs. Some of the Spanish ones have the ( and ) in their proper place.

Or just use a KB from the early 1970's like I do.

G83, arrow cluster is a dead giveaway, position of cherry logo over led, basically the case.

Thinking about getting this but I have no idea what it is. This is about it for pictures. I could post a couple of pics that are closer to the keyboard but no pics of the label unfortunately. My uneducated guess says foam and foil but hopefully someone will recognize this and enlighten me

Looks like a Data General Dasher. You should grab it and investigate! I don't know the switches, but I do know a few people who are mad for those:

Yep, it appears to be a Data General Dasher 200 keyboard. I will try to get it.

As I know, this case used only in G83.

Some time ago I bought a G81 on ebay but it turned out to be a G81 case with a G80 PCB inside. Is there a way to find the original modelnumber with just the numbers on the PCB?
