M

Those numbers usually start with 138 or 139, F-122 numbers usually start with 611.

Nixdorf keyboard with ominous switches. Does anyone have an idea what these are?

O.K. guys, Lion Tech. Read a bit about one model being made by Dih Shin bit I can find little else. More interested in this style of dome with slider; haven't seen one like it before. Anyone recognise it?

Not a Beamspring. This is Xerox, not IBM.

Please use the IDENTIFY THE KEYSWITCH thread when you know the keyboard but not the switch.

BTW. The Switch recognition guide is also a good resource, although I can't identify this one there.

The pic obviously shows a typewriter, the switch seems to be a Cherry M9:

I have a buckling spring board here. I looked up the FCC ID it seems to belong to Can Technologies. There's even an entry in the wiki about the FCC ID but this keyboard is different. No model or manufacturer listed but it lists the same patent numbers. It's clearly newer as it has windows keys.

Branded "Syncan" or "Can". The model number is there in the FCC ID after the grantee code. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=un65h8NWSAE

There's this ad: ACS (Alpha Computer Systeme)-branded Key Tronic E03623ELGRKTC-C (105key German layout, DIN5 connector) with "Key Tronic MPR II-KEY" on the spacebar.

It's quite clear what keyboard it is (another CIGE03600W), I'm just curious what the "Key Tronic MPR II-KEY" on the spacebar means. I found this older thread where the box reads:
MPR II
Exclusive conductive spacebar for enhanced environmental safety
Is it the grounding?

Anyone know what this one is? It's in my local classifieds and I'm debating picking it up.

Monterey K102. White or blue Alps SKCM.

edit - right case, wrong layout, unless there was an ANSI version?

Yeah that's what I thought too but I didn't see mention of an ANSI version on the wiki. The legend placement on the numpad 0 is pretty distinctive though. Especially when combined with the bold arrows. If I manage to get it then I'll try to post an update.

Keytronic foam and foil I think. The position of the lock lights are either that or space invaders, but the keycaps look like doubleshot DCS so it can't be space invaders.

Of course with a replacement PCB, keycaps and switches, it's be a great case (powdercoated bent metal).

Can confirm, f&f

Are you guys sure? The caps look very similar to the ones on my Unitek K-150L. That would mean they could be some form of Cherry switch...

Alright, nevermind. They look an awful lot like the caps of those Compaq XT boards. So most probably f&f.

Just checked my database, and there is a K101 listed with ANSI Enter, no filler keys on the bottom row, and "K102 style case". Switches are blue SKCM. Rebranded as "Staff". No promises, but this could be a nice find.

I have an ANSI "Staff-K101" with model number Staff K9AX, and SKCL greens. K101 style case, but with blockers instead of filler keys on the bottom row. Not the same, but thought it was similar enough to mention.

(I would have been more interested in the keycaps and PCB (if they would have been MX compatible), though. I find the shape of the case a bit .... "rudimentary".

Thanks to Lecrafter and TNT as well.

80's industrial makes me feel something.

Oh if the caps weren't F&F I'd be all over it... well not really, I don't want to orphan a complete luggable if I can avoid it.

Me too. There is actually another seller with only the keyboard, but - cunning as I am  - I chose to post this offer as a reference to avoid pointing to many eyes to "my" link. Just in case it would have turned out as desirable as I hoped.
