New European Keyboard Party...

Posted: 15 Feb 2011, 15:42
by Mrinterface
Hi,

With this topic I want to see how much interest there is for us to get together some time later this year in order to exchange our keyboard experiences and generally do some socializing.

So, if you are interested in participating ( or at least have the intention ) please reply to this thread and I'll put you on the participants list.

The country it will happen in is highly likely The Netherlands.

Participants list :
MrInterface ( The Netherlands )
webwit( The Netherlands )
CeeSa( Germany )
Sixty( Germany )

I will probably participate, if its later in the year. I'm pretty sure we will get much more participants with the proper promotion, as discussed in the internal section already. So don't worry too much for now, CeeSA :D

Might or might not be interested. I could imagine it to be a fun road trip with my likewise crazy brother next to me as my navigator and a trunk full of keyboards to show sell to you guys ^_^.
Very much depends on the when since i'd have to match with my and my bros uni schedules.

Keyboard party at the red light district! You won't drink champagne out of the girls vaginas, but from their keyboards. Used and grimy keyboards :D

I would attend...

Of course, I would have to use a bunch of frequent flier miles or even better... go to the local "rental place" to borrow a Lockheed C-130 to transport some of the collection. There would also be room for a stop over to pickup goodies in Lexington, KY from Chuck and Jim. :)

Anybody want to chip in and pay for gas money?

Any ideas on time of year? I might do some fun trip to NL just for kicks and eventually coincide with this party. But getting airplane tickets to NL is a bit bothersome.

Alternatively fly to Germany and drive to NL.

Maybe coincide the meeting with the Keukenhof flower festival and also include a tour of the canal booths, sure to attract many flower loving Homo Sapiens.

Aaah..the colors!

I live in the flower area of the Netherlands. I especially like the sightings of busloads full of Japanese. Although the Chinese are coming...

My parents were on a cruise ship going to Brazil, Falkland Islands, the Cape etc...

Said the boat was filled with Chinese tourists playing Mahjong. Luckily my mom is a pretty good player. She hated the sludge tea that drank though.

Damn. If I showed up and saw that, I would immediately leave and find the nearest pub.

Wasn't the main idea pub-crawling and such?

Should do it in the UK, although there are not many of us here it seems. TheKeyboardCo is here, though. :D
