Guys, can you tell me which SA kyecap sets were done in row 3?
I mean, not fully sculpted, so all row 3, or 2/3 ros etc.

I know Filco set, this new ICE set. What else?

Ice Cap and Industrial are uniform R3. I think Symbiosis was also.

Is there a reason why most of sets have fully sculpted profiles?
Do people prefer sculpted?

Because nowadays the PCBs and plates are not themselves curbed (e.g. classical IBM Model M/F), but flat; the different keycap row profiles try to compensate for that.

Right...
I have both, full sculpted and uniform row3.
I type faster on uniform, for some reason sculpted are funny to fill under my finger tips.
Is that normal? Would I get used to it with some time?

No, no, for sure you won't get used to them, so just sell them (cheap) to me :P

With fully sculptured high-profile keycaps, I don't need to open out the bottom feet of the board in order to achieve a comfortable reach of the numrow keys. The natural, gentle slope of most boards combined with the sculptured shape of SA keycaps provides the perfect typing profile for me.

I know what this could be - I'm sure you touch typing:)
I'm not perfect in touch typing, its faster for me to use few less fingers, then I miss-hit them etc that is probably why I keep hitting some of sculpted caps on perfectly in the center of it, always filling some higher edge.
I hope you know what I mean:)

Ah, yes indeed, I am touch typing.
I'm not perfect in touch typing...
Actually, I'm not perfect either. I learned touch typing on electric typewriters back in the late 1970s. In the years that followed, computer keyboards, with their diabolical BACKSPACE keys, turned me into a very sloppy touch typist. I am pretty fast when I get into a groove (almost 90wpm), but my accuracy isn't what it should be.

Same here... maybe not timescales, but I also learnt touch typing on typewriters, but in 90s :)
however, with time, I stopped doing it and forgot. Now only use 6 instead of 10 fingers:)
