Hey all, I've run into this situation where I'm unable to remove the top housing of an alps switch the usual way. This has happened to me on other boards and I was able to ignore it, but now the "b" key has stopped working on one of my boards and it just so happens I run into this situation again.
Just wondering if anyone else has run into this issue and managed to solve it without desoldering the switch, as I don't have access to any of the necessary tools.

Just verify if you correctly pushed the two tabs, then grab the slider with two fingers and horizotanlly bend it until gets off. I use two watchmaker screwdrivers to mantain the two tabs. If it's stuck as fuck grab the slider with tweezers and a piece of cloth and try to do the same process.
