Hello all,
I recently brought an IBM Model M from someone who modded their keyboard so that there is a PS/2 to USB Adapter within the keyboard and i would like to know how i would go about reversing this process just in case one day i decide i need to or want to go back to PS/2.
Kind Regards,
Conor.

If you have a model M that has an SDL cable you can get an SDL to USB cable. You could also desolder the ribbon connectors from the og controller and wire them to a teensey and flash it with something to convert it.

Depends on how the mod was made inside: it could be as simple as disconnecting and replacing a cable going to the converter by a compatible PS/2 one, or as troublesome as desoldering, identifying and re-soldering unlabeled wires.
