Are Kailh BOX Thick/Royal switches safe for keycaps

I am considering replacing switches in one of my boards to Box Thick or Box Royal switches, but I not sure if the problem of too big tolerances of mx mount was resolved (I don't want to destroy the keycaps).
Can anybody shed a light if the issue with the switches was resolved?

From what we know keycaps can still have stress marks after a short time. Not sure how that will behave over the time, especially when you use it. But at least they don't break immediately anymore...

I wouldn't say so. There was a new stem revision, but there have been people saying that the change was inadequate.
Edit: See
BOX switches STILL cracking keycaps!.
There is a third-party
Stemshaver tool to mod the slider, but I am reluctant to call that a solution.

I thought that since the last update from October the problem was resolved.
Last question: I presume the problem is present on the whole line of box switches, is that correct?

The problem was present on all box switches, but no longer. It has been fixed.
