Das daughter pcb replacement

I bought a das keyboard shortly after they first came out, and have been using it ever since(10+ years ago)
.
It died on me yesterday, and while probing it with my multimeter I discovered I can get it to boot up by probing two of the usb pins, but it has to be done every time the keyboard is first powered(on restarts). The usb hub on it died years ago, but the keyboard kept working.

I've done plenty with microcontrollers and already have a stock of Teensys from other projects. Has anyone documented the pinout on the key connector, or made firmware compatible with it? I searched for a bit but didn't find anything.
