Maxiswitch dome with slider - replaceable domes?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering - is it possible for Maxiswitch dome with slider's domes be replaced with lighter ones, like just by cutting the domes from this?: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Electrostatic- ... GAhEDbcOog
