FPGA-based IBM Wheelwriter Option

Hi,

Not sure if this is off-topic for this forum, but maybe it will be interesting for a few people...

I developed a small FPGA project which can control an IBM Wheelwriter via a serial terminal.
Everything you type into the terminal, including cut-and-paste text, will print on the typewriter.

I know this group is mainly interested in this typewriter's keyboard (very much so am I), but I also like
how these IBM typewriters print, so that why I developed this FPGA project which turns this typewriter
effecficely into a printer!

Here's a short demo on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8gCYw7 ... e=youtu.be
And my blog: https://microcorelabs.wordpress.com/201 ... er-option/
And the code on GitHub: https://github.com/MicroCoreLabs/Projects

Enjoy!

I'm interested. I have similar Wheelwriter projects (using an MCU) on GitHub: https://github.com/jim11662418
