There might be a couple of boards in there worth having. I do see an MCK 500, which should be an Ortek with white alps or clones. I definitely would not say that they are all trash.

MECHANICAL TOUCH sounds kinda maybe sorta mechanical, maybe? Well, maybe. The name is a bit too on the nose not to be suspicious!
But man, that CE board. It sounds so enticing! Maybe if you’re super lucky he’ll even have a RoHS!

KB 7953 definitely. It sounds like nothing new, but the feel is where it would get people. That board is not insanely well known, but it probably is worth something anyway. Unless it is the later black version, in which case it is pretty worthless.

Sorry to necro this, but is it true that the Ortek MCK-500 has Alps and/or clones? I can't find anything about it anywhere.imdatperson wrote: ↑03 Dec 2019, 19:09There might be a couple of boards in there worth having. I do see an MCK 500, which should be an Ortek with white alps or clones.

You know what, upon closer inspection, the only thing I can find is an old driver file for the Ortek MCK-500 “Internet Keyboard”, which would probably mean it is one of those funky early 2000’s internet shortcut boards. If that’s the case, then it is almost definitely rubberdome, not white alps/clones. My bad!Bjerrk wrote: ↑09 Mar 2021, 20:34Sorry to necro this, but is it true that the Ortek MCK-500 has Alps and/or clones?
