Hey everyone, I've just started trying to learn more about this hobby, and I was wondering if you guys know of any places I can learn more about it? Besides owning a Mechanical Keyboard, (a Durgod Taurus K320 TKL if you're wondering.) I have no idea where to start.

Those videos give a wealth of information on the subjective (aka opinionated aka biased) experience of using a huge variety of keyboards across the spectrum.

The "Wiki" tab at the top of this page goes into the mechanics and technical histories of individual switch types.

Depends. You interested in vints or modern boards? High-end or budget?

If vints, you've come to the right place :D

Once the pandemic is sorted out (I know, this is still some time away) "keyboard meetups" should resume in many places and give you an opportunity to try out various keyboards and switch types.

As a stopgap you could always buy or borrow a switch tester.

Beyond that, review videos are a good option and I heartily recommend Chyros' too.
