Hi guys, making a PCB for something and want to use some SKCL compacts. I am wondering if there is a PCB footprint for these, or if they just work with a normal SKCM/SKCL footprint. Thanks!

Skcl compact uses same switchplate as normal size skcl/skcm switches so they have same footprint.kelvinhall05 wrote: ↑03 Jun 2020, 22:38Hi guys, making a PCB for something and want to use some SKCL compacts. Good to know, thanks. Are they just half the height of a normal SKCL switch?ppCircle wrote: ↑04 Jun 2020, 02:12Skcl compact uses same switchplate as normal size skcl/skcm switches so they have same footprint.kelvinhall05 wrote: ↑03 Jun 2020, 22:38Hi guys, making a PCB for something and want to use some SKCL compacts. I'm just making a modern PCB for my Sharp PA1000H with diodes and a built-in Pro Micro socket (well, two; one for the keyboard, one for the character lcd). Hoping it'll turn out well lol.andj00 wrote: ↑04 Jun 2020, 02:57excited to see what you build!kelvinhall05 wrote: ↑03 Jun 2020, 22:38Hi guys, making a PCB for something and want to use some SKCL compacts. Can QMK work without diodes? I am still not 100% sure if I will make my own PCB.

Yes, but not expect NKRO on this without diodes.kelvinhall05 wrote: ↑04 Jun 2020, 03:01Can QMK work without diodes? I am still not 100% sure if I will make my own PCB.
