Hi All,

I know that a while back that there was a post about Red Alps that were found in a Toshiba Branded Alps bigfoot.

I was browsing through some local calssifieds and I came across a Toshiba branded Alps Bigfoot and bought it hoping for clicky Red Alps. I also heard that these can come with late blues as well so either or is a nice find.

The seller was a bit sketchy and when I asked for more photos of the original box for the PC that this keyboard came with I heard nothing back... Not only was the seller sketchy but they shipped the keyboard in just a bubble mailer...

Luckily only a clip and one switch bottom housing was broken in the process.

The rest of the keyboard was in fantastic condition and little to no dust in the switches or in the case.

This keyboard came with late Blue Alps that use a long white switch plate and there is lube on the switches.

Additionally, this keyboard uses Alps doubleshot keycaps that make the board sound amazing.

I have fully restored this keyboard and make sure that there was no more dust in any of the switches including the top housing. There is some yellowing on the board but I might just leave it for now until the situation here is better.

I will be making a video typing test for this keyboard in the future as well.

Thanks for reading.

They feel like normal blue alps, just a different switch plate colour.
